Cahoon Reunion Canada Trip

We spent three days of our Canada trip at the Cahoon Reunion. Here are a few pictures to highlight some of the fun.

Cardston Alberta Canada Heritage Days

One of the highlights of an August, Canada trip are the Cardston Heritage Days. The whole town celebrates its heritage with a parade, rodeo, and Mudd Bogg. I don't know what it is about the small town activities, but they bring back so many memories for me. I love watching my boys share in some of the same expereinces I enjoyed when I was a little girl.

A little video of Mudd Bogging ( I had never heard of it until I experienced it last year). The boys loved collecting the candy thrown at them during the parade.

Banks Lake

We spent a few days in Eastern Washinton at Banks Lake. My family camps there every year. This is the first time in 10 years I've been back to Banks.

TJ's favorite past time at the camp site.

Will it float or will it sink?

The boys loved spending their days on the sandy beach. They played in the water for hours. By the end of the day they were pretty exhausted.

CA Trip: Ocean

Can't end a trip to California without the Ocean. We went to the ocean the day before we headed home to Washington. The boys just can't get enough of the sand and waves. Trevor took a dip in the ocean for memory sake. I stayed out of the waves because I didn't feel like getting my pregnant body tossed around int he water.

CA Trip: Food Creations and the Circus

Aunt Lindy found a fun way to cook hot dogs and spaghetti. Grandma and Papa treated us to a morning at the Ringling Brothers Circus. It was too dark to get any good pictures of the actual circus.
Thread spaghetti through hot dogs and then boil

CA Trip: Man made Lake

Trevor's Aunt Marry took us to a private mam made lake. There was beautiful white sand everywhere. The water was shallow for quite awhile so the kids could really play around without the water getting too deep too soon. I am sporting my target special maternity bathing suit. I must admit this is my all time favorite bathing suit. I'll have to find a non pregnancy suit like it for next summer:)
