This is a short video of TJ's part in the Primary Program Sunday. During the first program song TJ was jumping up and down singing when he bumped his tooth on the wood rail. He started crying and Dad took him our. Luckily he didn't miss much and was able participate with his class. For his speaking part he added a bit at the end saying his Dad takes him to church. That's an OK thing to add I guess. I am thankful the program is done and will enjoy watching as part of the congregation and not the one in charge:) The entire primary did a wonderful job and I was so proud of them.

Family Home Evening Cupcakes
For Family Home Evening last Monday we got together with Carol and the Bolingers for an evening of cupcake decorating fun. We baked about 60 cupcakes and bought at least fifteen different candies for our evening of creativity. We did this last year and loved it, so we've made it a tradition. The boys enjoyed eating lots of candy and smearing icing all over for the first twenty minutes, but it was really the adults who had the most fun. Trevor was away on business last year so this was his first year creating with us. We were all impressed with his cupcake abilities. He even came up with some Trevor originals like the black widow he's holding in one of his pictures. This is definitely one of my favorite October traditions.

Pumpkin Patch October 10, 2009
This Saturday we spent part of the day at the Bi-Zi Farms Pumpkin Patch. This is one of my all time favorite fall family traditions. I don't know what it is about the pumpkin patch, but I just love it. I'm as excited as the boys to be there. Bi-Zi Farms is one of the best patches I've been to because there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The boys favorite area is definitely the corn pit. It was bigger this year then last so Trevor and I took off our shoes and joined in the fun. Both boys loved climbing onto the hay barrels and jumping into the corn. They wanted Dad to burry them in the corn just like sand at a beach. My favorite part is feeding and petting the farm animals. I guess that stems from my animal loving childhood. Anyone who know Trevor can probably guess that his favorite part is the pumpkin launching. This year he was really close to launching a pumpkin in a barrell for a prize. We came home with three huge pumpkins and a very happy family memory.

The boys did not want to look at the camera
We had a hard time keeping Russell from eating the corn
