Szeged Hungary

Our first night in Szeged Tom and Andrea took us out to one of their favorite local restaurants for authentic Hungarian Cuisine. Trevor and I in front of the Szeged Water Tower just outside the restaurant.
Tom and Andrea took us on a walking tour all over the city of Szeged, where they are currently serving. We walked around for about five hours looking at architecture and trying new foods.

There is natural spring water coming up in the middle of the city of Szeged. People fill up water jugs and containers to take the "medicinal" water home. Trevor took a drink, but I couldn't stomach it being pregnant. It smelled kind of stinky.
In front of the Szeged Opera house.
Ancient Roman ruins outside a museum in Szeged
Trevor had his Rocky shirt on so he ran up the stairs to this museum and jumped up and down at the top (how American)
A famous Catholic church downtown Szeged, by the local University.
 The same church different angle
Hero's tunnel, the paintings on the ceiling represent all the Battles fought by Hungarians.
The next day we drove out to a deserted part of Hungary where the three countries Serbia, Romania and Hungary meet. It is not a patrolled area, so we got out and crossed a few lines so we could say we went to all three countries. This is a picture of a deserted watch tower Trevor climbed with his parents on the Serbia part of the land. If you look carefully you can see Trevor and Andrea at the bottom.

Andrea is holding a picture of "flat Jackie" for a second grade project our niece is doing.
