A Trip to Remember Part 1

When Trevor decided to leave PWC to work for Banfield, we wanted to take advantage of the three weeks in between jobs.  We took a road trip with our kids to Idaho, Salt Lake, St. George, Las Vegas, Corona, and San Fransisco. The main purpose of the trip was to see Trevor's sweet Grandparents in St. George, whom we haven't seen for quite some time. We enjoyed spending time with a lot of family along the way.

Our first stop was in Idaho to see the Hafens. They are our close friends from when we first moved to Vancouver. Our boys played together in their big backyard while we visited with Mike and Janel.

From Idaho we headed to Salt Lake to see Temple Square. Russell was less than cooperative for a picture in front of the statue of Christ. We drove to Orem next to see Matt, Trent, Emily and Nathan. Later we ate dinner with Chelsea, Spencer, Jena, Bronson, Benson and Nash. Utah is always a great place to find family.

Chelsea let us spend the night. We spent our morning on the BYU campus. It started out well with hair cuts at the BYU barber shop. The good times ended about halfway into our bowling game, when the boys decided they didn't want to bowl anymore and got a little cranky. We didn't see any more of campus. Maybe we'll enjoy campus with the kids when they get older. We couldn't leave Provo without lunch at Cafe Rio.

I tried to get everyone to pose for this picture but no one wanted to. I thought it was a great view of the Temple.

Russell was on the ground because he was throwing a fit in front of everyone. What a happy family:)

What a great trip....you got to see everyone!! We loved having you here, and hope you will come back soon. That video of Amelia and Nash is funny, Nash is just stuck with his head in the ground, he does a lot better during tummy time now!! Cute family!!
